Does anyone know how to cut Bamboo Roman Shades? What type of saw, etc?
I have purchased 72″ x 72″ Roman Shades for my Florida Room that I am doing. Problem is that it is an old house and all the windows are different, ex: 67″, 60″, 69″, etc. I need to trim each blind to fit and need to know the best way to go about it. What type of saw? Would a circular saw work, or a table saw etc?

You need to use a very fine saw plade with any saw.

Hi ima Pro in this field. Use a new pair of Tin Snips. Draw your line up the side of the shade and then snip away, cleanest cut you’ll get.

Mighty Mite 4″ Table Saw for Cutting Laminate Flooring?
I want to lay some laminate flooring and I figured that a table saw might come in handy. I already have a circular saw, a mitre saw and a jig saw. Can I get away with just those? I don’t want to buy an expensive table saw because I probably won’t use it enough to justify the cost. I saw the a 4″ Mighty Mite on an auction site. Do you think that a Mighty Mite 4″ table saw would do the job?

4″ table saw will be fine for laminate flooring. )I don’t know about much else, but for lam flooring it should be fine(

You can do all the cutting you need by hand in reality – but the saw you have should make things easier. You don’t have to be overly precise because the only cutting you need will be round the perimeter and this can be covered by the skirting (which will conceal the expansion gap) or cover bead.

It will work fine, but your jig saw works great as well and you already have it

I find that the jig saw works the best, other tools just take to much time or burn blades
